Job summary

Stockport Nub News in Manchester is seeking an Engineering Geologist to join a respected environmental and engineering consultancy. You will work on ground investigation, geotechnical and contaminated land projects across Manchester and the wider UK.

The role involves supervising fieldwork, completing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, preparing factual and interpretative reports, and liaising with clients, contractors and regulators to deliver safe, on-time projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering geology or geo-environmental consultancy.
• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or related subject.
• Knowledge of Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and ground investigations.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and supervise ground investigations and fieldwork.
• Complete Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Prepare factual and interpretative reports for clients.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulators to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
