American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking a Geo-environmental Engineer in Manchester to join a geotechnical consultancy with a broad range of environmental restoration projects. The role blends site supervision with interpretive report writing, based in Manchester, with hybrid working options and full training.

The ideal candidate will have a geology background (degree preferred) and a full UK driving licence, and will work on contaminated land projects across phases 1–4.

Qualifications

• Geology degree and background in contaminated land projects are essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to perform a mix of site visits and office reporting.

Responsibilities

• Join Manchester-ground investigation team on environmental restoration projects.
• Carry out site visits and office-based interpretive report writing.
• Work on projects covering phases 1–4 with a blend of field and desk work.
