Geo-Environmental Engineer sought at a leading and innovative, SME Geo-Environmental Consultancy. This role is based in Bristol.

Overview

Our client is a leading, independent geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy offering a range of services, including site investigation, consultancy, and remediation, in the south of England and Wales.

They are seeking a Geoenvironmental Consultant, for their passionate and innovative team in Bristol. You will be keen to progress your career within the engineering consultancy sector, and should have a basic industry track-record of around 1-3 years, including site work.

Continued training and development support will be provided to identify your training needs in support of personal and business development goals, in a collaborative and trusting work environment.

Responsibilities

Completing Phase 1 desk studies including site walkovers.
Completing Phase 2 site investigations (supervising drill rigs and trial pitting, including sample collection).
Groundwater / ground gas monitoring and surveying.
Scheduling of environmental and geotechnical laboratory testing.
Factual and interpretative report writing.
Supervising earthworks and remediation contracts.

Requirements

Degree in an relevant subject such as Geology, Earth Sciences, Geo-environmental etc.
1-3 years industry background
Basic track-record in the above responsibilities
Full Driving Licence

On offer

Salary £28,00 – £32,000
Site allowance – approx. £3k extra per annum
