Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers in Sheffield is seeking an Engineering Geologist to join a growing ground engineering team. The role mixes site and office work on renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.

You will plan and supervise ground investigations, log geotechnical data, develop ground models and contribute to robust factual and interpretative reporting. A driving licence and UK-specific knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in ground investigation, engineering geology or geotechnical consultancy.
• Experience with site investigation and geological logging.
• Good understanding of UK ground conditions.
• Strong report writing and technical skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit an Engineering Geologist to join their growing ground engineering team in Sheffield, working on a range of renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.

The role will involve a combination of site and office-based work, supporting projects across wind, solar, battery energy storage and associated infrastructure.
