Job summary

Dennis Eagle, a global leader in the design and manufacture of refuse collection vehicles, offers a Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship that provides practical skills, technical knowledge, and industry experience to build an engineering career.

During your apprenticeship you will be mentored by experienced engineers, gain hands-on experience in vehicle assembly and build processes, use a range of tools and technologies for build, testing and diagnostics, and rotate through structured placements

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade A/9-7 including Maths and Science; Grade 4/5 considered.

Responsibilities

• Work with and be mentored by experienced engineers.
• Gain hands-on experience in vehicle assembly and build processes.
• Use tools, equipment, and technologies to support build, testing, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate across departments to understand operations.
• Complete structured workplace rotations to enhance skills.
• Support prototype development and contribute to new technology projects.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

• Collaborate with different departments and teams across the business to develop a broad understanding of operations.
• Complete structured workplace rotation placements to enhance your skills and experience.
• Support prototype development and contribute to innovative new technology projects.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements at all times.

Entry Requirements

You will have or are predicted to achieve 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade A/9-7 to include Maths and Science. Grade 4/5 will be considered.
