Job summary

Dennis Eagle UK in Warwick is seeking a hands-on Fitter to assemble and install mechanical systems and components, including hydraulics and pneumatics, to tight specifications.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, work with production systems, and thrive in a collaborative team while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical fitter, assembly operative or similar role.
• Experience working to takt time in a single-line production environment.
• Skilled in hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Computer literate with production systems.
• Flexible, self-motivated and a team player.
• Willing to work in confined spaces and occasional heavy lifting.
• Fitting qualifications or hydraulics/pneumatics training is a bonus.

Role: Fitter

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 06:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday

Hourly rate: Between £17.73 - £18.43 ph DOE

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for precision and teamwork? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fitter to join our Production team in Warwick!

This is a practical role where you’ll assemble and install mechanical systems and components, working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to deliver high-quality products that meet our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical components to engineering specifications
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
• Promote good housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures
• Use computer systems including the Production Management System (PMS)
• Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or similar role

• Skilled in general hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly

• Computer literate and confident using production systems
• Flexible, self-motivated, and a team player

• Relevant fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics is a bonus
