Omnea, the UK’s AI-native procurement platform, seeks a Director of Engineering to join the leadership team and report to the CTO. You will lead 25–50 engineers across multiple teams, own the technical roadmap, and shape the org design while delivering high‑impact software for enterprise customers.

This is a high-autonomy, growth‑stage role where you’ll partner with Product, GTM, and execs to raise velocity, reliability, and customer value.

Competenze

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years in engineering leadership
• 2+ years managing managers
• Led a group of 25-50 engineers across multiple teams
• Experience in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Mansioni

• Build and lead Engineering Managers and Team Leads
• Set and hold a high performance bar across the group
• Own org design for your area
• Own headcount planning for your group
• Be accountable for outcomes of several teams
• Define the technical roadmap in partnership with CT O and Product leadership
• Balance tech debt, features, and reliability
• Collaborate with enterprise customers to translate needs into solutions
• Develop the engineering function to scale with company growth
