Job summary

Redline Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Director for a leading safety instrumentation manufacturer based in Camberley, Surrey. You will head the multi-disciplinary engineering function and drive the engineering strategy across the business.

You will oversee engineering delivery, R&D and quality standards in a highly regulated setting, ensuring continued product development and compliance across electronics, electrical, and mechanical domains.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading an engineering or R&D organisation in a regulated industry.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Experience developing complex products within a regulated environment (defence, aerospace, medical, marine, industrial).
• Strong technical background with ability to provide strategic and technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Ideally experience in Electromechanical Design Engineering.
• British citizenship is required due to the highly regulated nature of the products and industry.

• Leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across electronics, electrical, mechanical and other engineering disciplines.
• Developing and implementing the overall engineering strategy, ensuring it aligns with wider business objectives.
• Providing leadership and direction across engineering and R&D, ensuring projects and product development activities are delivered effectively.
• Overseeing engineering performance, processes and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Ensuring engineering activities meet the required quality, safety, regulatory and compliance standards associated with highly regulated products.
