Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Head of Safety and Certification to lead System Safety, Product Safety, Certification and Environmental teams across the portfolio. You will ensure that products and services comply with regulatory standards, company policies and industry requirements.

You will manage resources, drive process improvements, engage with stakeholders and support bids, with strong leadership and strategic thinking. The role is hybrid, requiring oversight across sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead System Safety, Product Safety and Environmental teams across Raytheon UK’s product portfolio.
• Provide expert guidance on standards, requirements and policy compliance.
• Review and approve System Safety, Product Safety, Certification and Environmental documentation.
• Champion engineering best practices and participate in external audits.
