Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the ILIOS programme from West Burton, Nottinghamshire. You will own design integrity, engineering assurance and buildability, acting as the technical authority for governance and safety-led design.

You will headline engineering leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, translate outputs into safe, buildable works packages and drive innovative, compliant solutions for a major infrastructure programme.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree-level engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution.
• Significant senior leadership experience across major multi-disciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of technical risk, compliance, and safety-led design principles.

Responsibilities

• Providing overall engineering leadership and owning design integrity, systems integration and technical innovation.
• Developing and implementing engineering and assurance strategies across ILIOS.
• Leading engineering assurance and translating outputs into safe, buildable works packages.
• Acting as Temporary Works Designated Individual with robust procedures and assurance arrangements.
• Building and developing engineering capability across ILIOS and promoting collaboration across partners.
