Kier Group is seeking a Head of Site Engineering for the STEP Fusion Programme based at West Burton. The role is hybrid with travel, reporting into the IPT5 engineering leadership to ensure design intent aligns with delivery and governance across the site.
The ideal candidate is a Chartered Engineer with substantial senior experience on safety-critical projects, capable of leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across organisations to maintain system integrity.

Join ILIOS, the Construction Partner for the UK's STEP (Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production) fusion programme - a world-leading initiative to design and build a prototype fusion energy power plant at West Burton in Nottinghamshire. As Head of Site Engineering, you'll work across organisational and technical boundaries as the technical controlling mind and system architect for the West Burton site, promoting a best-for-programme approach that integrates design intent with delivery, assurance, digital information, commercial and operational requirements.
