Job summary

Brooksbank Valves is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our Engineering Design function in Keighley, West Yorkshire, England. You will provide technical and strategic leadership for the Engineering team, drive product development and continuous improvement, and ensure our valves meet customer requirements.

You will report to the MD, join the Senior Management Team, and steer design, development and manufacturing integration across the business.

Qualifications

• You will be a degree-educated engineering leader with significant experience in valve design and pressure equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering Design team.
• Oversee design and development of valve products.
• Drive product improvement, innovation and best practice.
• Improve manufacturability and efficiency with Production Engineering.
• Strengthen engineering processes and drawing control.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Manage departmental priorities, capacity, budgets and KPIs.
• Provide technical leadership across the business.
• Engage with customers, auditors and external bodies.
• Contribute to the Senior Management Team and strategic objectives.
