Job summary

Brooksbank Valves is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our Engineering Design function and shape the future direction of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will provide technical and strategic leadership for the Engineering function.

You will lead and develop the Engineering team, drive product development and continuous improvement, and ensure our products continue to meet the demanding requirements of

Qualifications

• Degree-educated engineering leader with valve design experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, PED, CE marking, API and ANSI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering Design team.
• Oversee design and development of valve products (new and existing).
• Drive product improvement and engineering best practice.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Strengthen engineering processes, documentation and drawing control.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Manage departmental priorities, budgets and KPIs.
• Provide technical leadership across the business.
• Engage with customers, auditors and external bodies.
• Contribute to SMT and company strategic objectives.
