Operating across international markets, we connect and simplify complex transport systems, giving operators the clarity, control and confidence to run better mobility and create simpler, more connected experiences for passengers.

About Us

At Vix Technology, we're bringing people, technology and services together to make transport work better for everyone. Operating across international markets, we connect and simplify complex transport systems, giving operators the clarity, control and confidence to run better mobility and create simpler, more connected experiences for passengers.

Our goal is simple: better systems, better outcomes and transport that works as one. It's our people who make that possible.

We value those who take ownership, work well with others and aren't afraid to question the default. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise, solve meaningful challenges and work alongside people who share your ambition to build great solutions and make a difference.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead and oversee product-related delivery across EMEA.

Sitting at the intersection of Engineering, Product and our customers, you will be responsible for ensuring that product and technical commitments are translated into clear delivery plans and successfully executed. Sitting within the CTO function, you will provide visibility, structure and accountability across the delivery portfolio, ensuring we deliver the right outcomes at the right time and to the right quality.

This is not a traditional project management role. You will need to be technically credible, commercially aware and comfortable operating in a complex environment where customer requirements, product priorities and engineering capacity need to be carefully balanced.

You will play a critical role in connecting what our customers need with what our Product and Engineering teams build, creating a strong feedback loop and helping us continually improve both our products and the way we deliver them.

Technical & Product Delivery
  • Own and oversee product-related technical delivery across the EMEA region, from initial commitment through to successful customer implementation.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into clear, achievable delivery plans in partnership with Engineering and Product.
  • Maintain a consolidated view of the EMEA delivery portfolio, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks and resource requirements.
  • Drive delivery against agreed timelines, scope and quality expectations, ensuring issues are identified and addressed early.
  • Establish clear governance, reporting and delivery rhythms that provide stakeholders with confidence and visibility.
  • Ensure dependencies between customer programmes, product roadmaps and engineering activity are understood and effectively managed.
  • Continuously improve our delivery practices, introducing greater consistency, predictability and scalability as the business grows.
Engineering & Product Partnership
  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering to understand engineering capacity, priorities and constraints and ensure resources are aligned to the highest-value delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with Product to ensure customer requirements and market feedback are appropriately understood, prioritised and reflected in product planning.
  • Create an effective feedback loop between customers, regional teams, Product and Engineering.
  • Challenge requirements constructively and help distinguish between genuine product requirements, customer-specific requests and opportunities for alternative solutions.
  • Ensure Engineering teams have the clarity and context required to deliver effectively.
  • Help protect Engineering capacity by bringing structure and prioritisation to incoming customer and regional requirements.
Customer Delivery
  • Provide senior delivery oversight for key EMEA customers, ensuring technical commitments are understood and delivered successfully.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and credible communication around delivery status, risks and dependencies.
  • Work with customer-facing teams to set realistic expectations around scope, timelines and technical feasibility.
  • Lead or support the resolution of complex delivery challenges, bringing together the right technical and commercial stakeholders to unblock progress.
  • Ensure customer feedback and lessons learned are captured and fed back into Product and Engineering.
  • Support customer meetings and governance forums where senior technical delivery representation is required.
Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Create a culture of ownership, accountability and transparency around delivery.
  • Identify recurring delivery challenges and address their root causes rather than simply managing individual issues.
  • Develop and track meaningful delivery metrics to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools and ways of working.
  • Support the development of scalable delivery frameworks that enable growth across EMEA without creating unnecessary complexity or bureaucracy.
  • Influence across functions and geographies to ensure teams remain aligned around shared priorities and outcomes.
About You
  • Significant experience in technical delivery, programme management, technical project management or a similar role within a technology-led organisation.
  • A background in software engineering or engineering leadership, with the credibility to lead and challenge engineering teams.
  • A strong track record of successfully delivering complex technology or product initiatives to enterprise customers.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering and product teams, with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong technical literacy and the ability to engage credibly with engineers while translating technical subjects for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent customer or product deliveries across different markets or geographies.
  • Strong understanding of delivery methodologies and the judgement to apply the right level of process rather than process for its own sake.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior internal stakeholders and enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrable experience managing dependencies, risks, competing priorities and constrained resources.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of the relationship between customer commitments, product strategy and engineering capacity.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and bringing structure to fast-moving or evolving environments.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge, influence and make decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
