Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Lead on a 6‑month contract based in the UK. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, manage work packages and ensure delivery against plans, schedules and objectives.

You will provide visibility of progress, risks and issues, drive accountability, and support change control, verification readiness and programme reviews. The initial contract is six months with potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading delivery across complex engineering programmes.
• Experience coordinating work packages across multiple disciplines.
• Strong planning, scheduling and risk management skills.
• Experience tracking progress and reporting delivery risks.
• Ability to drive accountability in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track engineering work packages, schedules, dependencies and completion criteria.
• Coordinate activities across systems, software, hardware, mechanical, RF and verification teams.
• Monitor programme progress, risks and blockers, and drive resolution or escalation.
• Support engineering change control, verification readiness and programme reviews.
• Maintain delivery metrics, actions, assumptions and risk registers.
• Ensure evidence and documentation support project reviews and milestones.
• Facilitate regular engineering delivery reviews and follow-up actions.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans and work breakdown structures.
• Produce status reports highlighting progress and recovery actions.
• Maintain delivery information in programme management tools, including Jira.
