Job summary

HAMILTON ROWE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD in City of London is seeking an experienced Engineering Contract Manager to lead a high-value maintenance contract on a prestigious commercial site. You will manage P&L, ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, and oversee a multidisciplinary onsite engineering team to deliver high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Technically qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, Air Conditioning or HVAC Engineering (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience with budgets and P&L.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT and reporting skills.
• Driven, organised and motivated, with a focus on delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the overall performance and day-to-day management of the contract.
• Managing contract P&L, budgets and financial performance.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
• Providing technical support to both the client and engineering team.
• Managing client relationships and attending regular client meetings.
• Identifying, quoting and managing additional works and projects.
• Leading, developing and supporting the onsite engineering team.
• Producing contract reports and monitoring operational performance.
• Identifying opportunities to secure additional business.
• Managing permit-to-work systems and ensuring safe working practices.
• Overseeing health and safety, environmental standards and quality procedures across the contract.
