Resourcing Group has an exciting opportunity to join a leader in the FM industry. Our client is seeking an Engineering Compliance Manager to join the team in Liverpool Street, London, offering a salary of 57k.
Job Purpose:
The role involves providing compliance, administrative, and operational support to the engineering and small works delivery team across two client sites in London. It requires coordination and cross-division collaboration, emphasizing strong communication skills and industry knowledge in FM engineering.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Educated to at least NVQ level 4 or equivalent, preferably with a recognized engineering qualification.
- Technical expertise and qualifications in an engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of operational procedures such as compliance/engineering roadmaps, planned maintenance systems, quality, and health & safety standards.
- Proficiency in information technology, including Microsoft Office, Project, Windows, and spreadsheets.
Key Focus Areas:
Operations:
- Coordinate engineering compliance standards across sites.
- Manage engineering documentation.
- Raise commercial documentation such as POs and credit notes.
- Conduct H&S documentation and ensure PPMs are performed and documented consistently.
- Report compliance requirements and support H&S reporting to the client.
- Assist in surveying small works projects.
Managing Risks, Opportunities, and Issues:
- Establish and maintain compliance and engineering risk management strategies.
- Analyze and recommend actions for risks and opportunities identified during delivery.
Controlling Change:
Coordinate and implement change control processes for commercial and delivery aspects.
Client Relationships:
- Maintain daily contact with client representatives to review operational matters.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and work orders.
- Provide regular updates on engineering, compliance, and project performance.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years' managerial experience in building maintenance, preferably in banking, corporate, or commercial sectors.
- Proven experience in engineering and managing health & safety compliance.
- Experience managing projects up to £500k.
- IT literacy with AUTOCAD, Intellect, Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
- Experience with PDA and mobile software management.
- Leadership skills in supporting and coaching teams to deliver quality projects.
