Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking an experienced Engineering Curriculum Manager to lead and oversee the engineering curriculum area at our London FE provider. You will focus on delivery standards, performance and learner outcomes, while shaping programme quality and development.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will develop teaching staff, monitor teaching quality and assessment, and collaborate with curriculum teams to raise learner progress and achievement across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must have strong subject knowledge across engineering programmes.
• Experience of curriculum leadership within a further education setting.
• Experience in managing, supporting and developing teaching staff.
• Ability to monitor quality, performance and learner progress.

Are you an experienced engineering professional ready to take on a curriculum leadership role within further education?

About the Role

You’ll join a further education provider to lead and manage the engineering curriculum area, overseeing delivery and maintaining high standards across the provision.

You’ll support and develop teaching staff, monitor the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, and work with colleagues to improve learner progress and outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the engineering curriculum area.
• Supporting and developing teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning.
• Monitoring teaching, learning and learner outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Strong subject knowledge across engineering programmes

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised teaching qualification
• Experience of curriculum planning and quality assurance processes
