Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is seeking an Engineering Capabilities Finance Business Partner to lead finance delivery across Engineering Capabilities in Derby, Bristol, or London. Reporting to the VP Finance, Portfolio, you will drive investment governance, forecast, and risk management to maximise value from a £200m+ spend portfolio across Test & Experimental Engineering.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required.
• Experience in finance business partnering or related leadership role.
• Track record leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering sustainable outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience developing and implementing business cases or strategic initiatives.
• Ability to establish governance, manage ambiguity and drive actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive and resilient with a delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Partner Engineering Capability leaders to support planning, forecasting and strategic decision-making.
• Establish governance and early-warning mechanisms for risks and opportunities.
• Lead development and delivery of engineering capital investment and business cases.
• Drive affordability, productivity and efficiency through to implementation and benefit realisation.
• Lead changes to cost rates, charging methodologies and other financial processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Finance and stakeholders.
• Support portfolio reviews and investment governance forums with clear analysis.
• Improve financial processes and reporting, embedding best practice.
