Due to continued growth, this company is looking to expand its dedicated team of Engineering Assessors. You'll be supporting apprentices as they work towards industry-recognised qualifications, visiting them in the workplace and working remotely between visits.
In this Monday to Friday role, you'll work closely with employers and learners to create tailored learning plans, monitor progress, and help shape the skills of tomorrow's engineers.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an engineering discipline and a passion for helping others succeed. Assessing or teaching experience is beneficial, but full training can be provided for the right person with the drive to move into a coaching role.

The Role:
Supporting and assessing engineering apprentices in the workplace
Planning and reviewing individual learning plans in partnership with learners and employers
Monitoring progress and delivering timely support where needed
Maintaining compliance with apprenticeship standards and documentation
Hybrid role with a mix of site visits and remote working
The Person:
Strong background in engineering
A passion for mentoring or training
Able to confidently explain how apprenticeships work to learners and employers
Ideally holds an assessing or teaching qualification (or willing to work towards one)
Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
