Job summary

The Sheffield College is seeking an Apprenticeships/Work-based Learning Coordinator to manage a caseload of apprentices in Engineering, guiding them through their learning programme within the planned timeframe.

You will liaise between College staff, employers and learners to ensure timely delivery and achievement of full apprenticeship programmes, building strong working relationships.

Qualifications

• DBS check is required as part of safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment and development of individual learning plans.
• Development of a scheme of work for apprenticeship programmes, visiting apprentices on the job and delivering high quality off-the-job training.
• Support and assessment of the apprenticeship programme and preparation for end point assessment.
• Support apprentices’ English, Maths and ICT skills and engage learners to help achieve goals.
• Track and monitor apprentice progress using the College’s e-portfolio system.
