About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to support our Engineering and Health & Safety (HSE) teams in Warrington.

This is a key role within the engineering function, providing essential administrative, compliance and contractor coordination support across maintenance activities and capital projects. You will help ensure statutory inspections are managed effectively, documentation is accurate and up to date, and contractor works and invoices are processed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering administration, facilities management, maintenance or a similar regulated environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and track statutory inspections, including electrical, drainage, DSEAR and other compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, inspection reports, certification and remedial action trackers.
  • Administer CAFM, CMMS and compliance management systems, ensuring asset and work order data remains accurate.

  • Monitor contractor invoices and verify costs against purchase orders and completed works.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, engineers and HSE colleagues to resolve queries and outstanding actions.
  • Support maintenance and fault management administration, ensuring the correct documentation is in place before works are authorised.
  • Produce regular reports and trackers covering compliance status, inspection deadlines and contractor performance.
  • Assist with audits, site inspections and quality assurance checks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, document control and compliance management.
About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable and confident working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in engineering administration, facilities management, maintenance, construction or a similar environment.
  • Experience using CAFM, CMMS or compliance management systems, such as Trident, SAP or Maximo.
  • Knowledge of statutory inspections, engineering compliance and health and safety documentation.
  • Experience managing RAMS, contractor records, purchase orders and invoice verification.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, coordination and time-management skills.
  • A methodical approach to maintaining accurate records and meeting compliance deadlines.
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.

A relevant Business Administration or Engineering Administration qualification would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence is required due to occasional site visits.

What We Offer
  • The opportunity to play a key role in supporting engineering operations and compliance.
  • A varied position working alongside engineering, maintenance and HSE professionals.
  • The opportunity to contribute to process improvements and the development of engineering systems.
