Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking an Administrator to join its Engineering team in Poole, Dorset. You will handle administrative tasks across the department, ensuring processes, audits, and CMMS data are accurate and up-to-date.

The role emphasizes process-driven work, cross-functional support, and contributing to continuous improvement within a large UK food group with renowned brands.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Word.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Background in administration within an engineering environment.
• Experience working with CMMS systems or other complex CRM databases.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary administrative contact for the Engineering department.
• Coordinate technical and customer audits, ensuring compliance with customer standards and timely completion of NCNs.
• Maintain, review and document engineering processes and procedures with annual updates and staff sign-off.
• Manage and keep the engineering technical library current.
• Support the Engineering Manager in developing training plans and maintaining the engineering skills matrix.
• Ensure work orders and equipment failures are recorded in the CMMS and support consistent reporting.
• Produce and analyse key engineering KPIs.
• Monitor engineering holiday records and escalation resource or labour concerns.
• Maintain a safe, organized office environment and promote continuous improvement.
• Identify and escalate operational improvement opportunities and departmental concerns.
• Provide cross-functional administrative support across the Engineering department.

This role is centred around supporting our engineering department for all of its administrative needs and is perfect for someone

Your Duties Will Include:

• Act as the primary administrative contact for the Engineering department.

• Maintain, review, and document engineering processes and procedures, ensuring annual updates and staff sign-off.
• Manage and keep the engineering technical library current.
• Support the Engineering Manager in developing training plans and maintaining the engineering skills matrix.
• Ensure work orders and equipment failures are accurately recorded in the CMMS, supporting consistent reporting across engineering teams.
• Produce and analyse key engineering KPIs.
• Monitor engineering holiday records and escalation resource or labour concerns to the Engineering Manager.
• Maintain a safe, organized office environment and promote continuous improvement.
