Job summary

Ingram Tribology Ltd in west Wales seeks an engineer with knowledge of Tribology to join its growing team. You will work on consultancy projects, research, and testing activities across lubrication science.

You will contribute to test campaigns, analyse data, and present results to clients, with opportunities to develop educational courses and training materials.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Chemistry or related sciences.
• Knowledge and experience of Tribology and material science.
• Must be personable, able to communicate complex problems simply, and prepare quality reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute specialist knowledge to consultancy projects.
• Contribute to internal development projects.
• Run multiple tribological test rigs, analyse data, and communicate with clients.
• Design test methods and test campaigns.

An opportunity to join a rapidly growing specialist engineering company, based in west Wales. We are looking for a motivated, skilled engineer, with knowledge of Tribology, to join Ingram Tribology Ltd. At Ingram Tribology, we provide testing, training, and support services in the fields of Tribology and Lubrication sciences. We work with many clients from all over the world – helping to solve complex machine issues and develop new lubricants/coatings and material technologies.
The candidate will get exposure to a broad range of engineering projects. Working as part of a small team, the candidate should be prepared for varied day-to-day tasks, working at the cutting edge of lubrication and interfacial engineering sciences.

Job responsibilities – Engineer

• Contribute specialist knowledge to all consultancy projects

Job skills & qualifications
