Job summary

Position Summary

To proactively improve manufacturing equipment at the site

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the development and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• Commission new equipment to achieve the required safety and productivity rates.
• Make an effective contribution to improve product quality and operational performance.
• Assist skilled workers with hands on duties when required.
• Supervise other employees on the site.
• Any other duties commensurate with the position as and when required

What we are looking for

• Mechanically or Electrical bias also Multi skilled.
• An apprentice time served or graduate engineer.
• A qualified engineer to at least HNC level.
• Candidates should have experience in a similar role including a good knowledge of Electro - Pneumatic machinery which is PLC controlled.
• Experience in high volume manufacturing but not in heavy industry.
• A good appreciation of tight tolerances (0.1mm).
• Candidates will need to demonstrate good teamwork and problem solving skills as there is a need to work closely with others to successfully complete individual and plant objectives throughout the year.
