Join to apply for the Engineer or Technician role at TÜV SÜD.

Tasks / Aufgaben

1. Working as part of a team of Wireless Test Engineers, contributing to wireless testing services involving RF, OTA, or SAR testing on various wireless products such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GSM, PMR radio, and base stations.
2. Perform RF certification testing according to European and FCC standards.
3. Test wireless products to international standards, assess products, and define test requirements resulting in a test plan.
4. Record test results and produce reports following quality procedures.
5. Assist in developing test methods and departmental documentation.
6. Work closely with customers during testing and monitor equipment calibration.
7. Ensure work complies with test plans and timelines, collaborating with the Project Manager.

Qualifications / Qualifikationen

1. Qualifications in Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related sciences.
2. Practical aptitude and good IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
3. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with analytical abilities.
4. Ability to work independently and in teams, meeting deadlines.
5. Interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and willingness to support flexible working hours.

Desirable Criteria

1. Experience with RF testing in a test house environment.
2. Use of RF test equipment such as spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters.
3. Experience with test automation tools like HPVEE, .NET, LabVIEW.
4. Knowledge of radio performance standards like ETSI and FCC.
5. Experience with audits.
