Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Science Teacher for a secondary school in Dudley after the October half-term. You will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3-4, covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and build positive relationships with students.

The role welcomes experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). You will assess pupil progress, adapt lessons to diverse learners, and contribute to departmental planning.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3-4.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Strong subject knowledge and confident delivery across KS3-4
• Effective classroom and behaviour management
• Experience planning and delivering lessons independently
• Organised, reliable and committed to pupil progress

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3-4
• Teach across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• Follow the National Curriculum and adapt lessons to meet learners' needs
• Assess, track and report on pupil progress with constructive feedback
• Maintain positive behaviour and follow school policies
• Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Create an inclusive classroom environment for all learners
