Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a thoughtful RE teacher for a community secondary school in Ely. The role covers KS3–KS4, three days per week, with a start in January 2027 and pro-rata MPS/UPS depending on experience.

The successful candidate will plan lessons on religious literacy, encourage respectful discussion, and prepare GCSE classes as needed, while tracking pupil progress and supporting inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience in delivering RE at KS3–KS4 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons that develop religious literacy and evaluative writing.
• Facilitate balanced, sensitive discussions on diverse beliefs.
• Prepare GCSE classes when required and track pupil progress.
