• Ability to facilitate balanced discussion of challenging questions.
• Demonstrates effective behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach RE across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver lessons on religious traditions, beliefs, practices and ethical debates.
• Develop pupils' analytical thinking, discussion and extended-writing skills.
• Prepare GCSE classes for assessments and examinations.
• Use assessment to monitor progress and identify areas requiring further teaching.
• Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community.
