Job summary

Brompton Hall School is seeking an experienced Tutor to support the delivery of our Gateway provision for Key Stage 4 pupils who are disengaged from education. You will plan and deliver bespoke learning, lead small group sessions, and work with families to promote attendance and progress.

The role is 39 weeks per year, 37 hours per week during term time plus 5 training days. You will use creative approaches to engage vulnerable learners and help them reconnect with schooling.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is essential.
• Experience with or caring for children of relevant age.
• Understanding of National Curriculum and SEN, Equalities codes of practice.
• GCSE English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent).
