Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Secondary Year (KS3 - KS4) Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people not attending school. You will plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps and boost engagement and attainment.

Many pupils may have been out of education, so you will reengage them with structure and consistent progress checks. This role suits an experienced teacher seeking a more personalised approach outside the traditional classroom.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent.
• 6 months+ experience working as a tutor.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 education packages tailored to each pupil.
• Plan, create and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in learning.
• Support re-engagement of pupils who have been out of formal education.
• Monitor progression and provide regular updates to supervisors.
