Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Functional Skills Tutor to support a Year 13 student with Autism/ADHD in a specialist Oldham provision. The role is long-term and 3 hours per day, five days per week, with a patient, nurturing approach.

You will adapt Functional Skills sessions to the learner's needs, helping build confidence and progress in education while joining a team that values Contiued Professional Development and flexible onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting learners with Autism / ASD and ADHD.
• Confident delivering personalised Functional Skills sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised Functional Skills tutoring to a Year 13 student.
• Adapt sessions to the learner's individual needs and pace.
• Maintain a patient, consistent approach to improve engagement.
