Job summary

Christ The King Voluntary Academy in Arnold, Nottingham, is seeking a flexible, engaging teaching assistant to support across all age groups and abilities. You will work 37 hours per week during term time, assisting teachers in 1:1 and small-group settings and helping with differentiation and intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teachers in classrooms.
• Experience with diverse needs including SEN, behavioural and emotional needs.
• Commitment to inclusion of all students.

Responsibilities

• Be caring and supportive, and committed to achieving excellent results.
• Support the teachers to enthuse students and progress their learning.
• Assist with planning, differentiation and preparation of intervention strategies.
• Promote student well-being by providing guidance and support.
• Establish supportive relationships with pupils, valuing and listening to them.
• Provide support for learning activities and monitor their effectiveness.
