Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking an Activity Care Assistant at Mountbatten Lodge in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves planning and delivering engaging activities for residents, working with the care team to tailor activities to individual needs, and supporting events and daily living in a 60-bed home rated Good by the CQC.

You will join a not-for-profit organisation investing in residents' wellbeing, with training provided from day one and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Commitment to person-centred care and dignity for residents.
• Willingness to undergo induction training and ongoing development.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Age 18+ to apply.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities for residents.
• Use computer systems to plan activities and inform families.
• Collaborate with care team to tailor activities to residents' needs.
• Encourage residents to pursue hobbies and goals.
• Create a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment.
• Support special events and seasonal activities.
• Ensure activities comply with health and safeguarding policies.
• Promote dignity, respect and person-centred care at all times.
