Quantum Care is a not-for-profit organisation seeking an Activity Care Assistant to join the QClub Day Centre team at Willow Court in Harpenden. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care and support residents to maintain independence and engagement.

The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with weekday and alternative weekend shifts. Full induction training and ongoing development opportunities are provided in a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Empathetic and positive attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to care for older people with compassion and respect.
• Willingness to learn through induction training and development opportunities.
• Able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• 18 years or over to apply.
• Good computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities and social events for residents.
• Use resources and computer to plan and inform families about activities.
• Work with the care team to tailor activities to residents' needs.
• Encourage residents to pursue hobbies and personal goals.
• Help create a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
• Support special events, celebrations and seasonal activities.
• Ensure activities comply with health, safety and safeguarding policies.
• Promote dignity, respect and person-centred care.
