Akari Care Limited in Gateshead is seeking an Activities Coordinator to engage residents and deliver personalised activities that enrich daily life. You will collaborate with the Home Manager and care teams to create inclusive programmes that reflect residents’ interests and cultures, promoting social interaction and wellbeing within the home.

You will coordinate rolling and individual activity plans, encourage participation, and support fundraising initiatives and budgeting for entertainment

Qualifications

• Experience of working within similar environment.
• Previous experience within similar type of role.
• A caring nature with ability to give everyone a personal approach.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver a variety of activities for residents with diverse needs.
• Engage residents to socialise and participate in activities within the home.
• Support colleagues, relatives and friends to participate in activities and accompany residents on offsite activities.
