Job summary

Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Co-Ordinator for Holmesview Nursing Home in Broxburn to plan, organise and deliver a varied weekly activities programme that reflects resident views.

You will work with nursing staff and managers, engage residents and families, and help maintain a welcoming, stimulating environment; the role offers funded pension, generous annual leave, and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar creative role.
• Experience organising activities for groups, ideally elderly.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of the local community and residents' rights.
• Experience in activities suitable for elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities considering residents' needs and abilities.
• Discuss plans with residents individually or in groups.
• Seek feedback from meetings and families/visitors.
• Meet with Home Manager and Deputy to discuss plans and finances.
• Communicate with Nurses and Carers about planned activities.
