Job summary

Balhousie Care Group in Scotland is seeking an Activities Co-Ordinator at one of our care homes to coordinate and deliver a varied leisure and wellness programme for residents. You will spend time getting to know residents and tailor activities to deliver person-centred care that supports wellbeing.

Applicants should be well-organised, capable of leading others, and comfortable with reading, writing and clear communication. Weekend availability is advantageous and PVG checks are required.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and strong organizational skills.
• Computer literacy, reading and writing skills are essential.
• Interest in wellness and active aging.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the planning, creation, and delivery of the home’s leisure and wellness programme.
• Lead efforts to ensure a programme of individual activities is available for residents.
• Spend time getting to know residents and tailor activities to deliver person-centred care.
• Support residents to participate in a wide range of activities to enhance wellbeing.
