Job summary

Godden Lodge Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to deliver meaningful, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing and social engagement for residents. You will plan a varied programme, tailor activities to individual interests, and work closely with staff to support those living with dementia.

The role welcomes experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and ongoing development provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities or similar role is valuable.
• Strong planning and interpersonal skills for group and one-to-one activities.
• Ability to engage older adults, including those living with dementia, in meaningful activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs.
• Build strong relationships to understand preferences and promote inclusion.
