Job summary

CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED in Aberdeen’s West End is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging, person-centred activities for residents, including those living with dementia. You will tailor a varied programme, build relationships with residents and work as part of a supportive team to promote wellbeing and social interaction.

Full training and support are provided. The role offers a friendly, collaborative environment with opportunities to develop in the care sector.

Qualifications

• Creative, organised and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in activities or similar roles valued; transferable skills from hospitality, events, childcare or community work welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs; consider dementia care.
• Build relationships to understand preferences and enable inclusive participation.
• Work as part of the wider team to contribute to a positive, stimulating environment.
• Provide training and development support as needed.
