Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic leader to head the Engagement, Activity & Physical Health (EAP) team on Montpellier Low Secure Recovery Unit. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive operational management and ensure high clinical standards within the EAP agenda for service users with enduring mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Utilise the conceptual framework of the EAP Team to underpin clinical practice.
• Select and manage caseload of clients with complex health needs.
• Plan and deliver targeted EAP interventions.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions.
• Attend meetings and provide progress reports.
• Act as clinical lead for up to four service users.
• Maintain documentation per trust policy.
• Provide regular clinical supervision.
• Develop the EAP service and engage in audit/research activities.
• Recruit and develop a cohesive team and staff.
• Ensure student placements and supervision.
• Represent the EAP team at hospital meetings.
