Job summary

Cygnet Woking is seeking an Active Life Lead to oversee the hospital’s Active Life programme, promoting physical health and wellbeing for service users. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, plan activities, and ensure engaging, safe, and tailored sessions.

The role requires leadership, organisational skills and a focus on rehabilitation goals within a specialist mental health hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification is required.
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C/Level 4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and health/fitness training.
• Experience delivering physical activity programmes to individuals and groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Active Life service across the hospital.
• Supervise Active Life Trainers and Activity Coordinators where applicable.
• Plan and deliver diverse exercise sessions for individuals and groups.
