Torfaen County Borough Council is seeking a part-time Engagement Officer within the Communications and Engagement Team. You will lead public engagement across the council, working with the Local Service Board on strategic engagement linked to corporate priorities, including the Torfaen Deal.

You will also manage the council’s online engagement hub and people’s panel, coordinating with the Children and Young People Engagement and Participation Officer.

This part-time Engagement Officer post sits in the Communications and Engagement Team at Torfaen County Borough Council. The role leads public engagement across the council and works with the local service board on strategic engagement tied to corporate plan priorities, including the Torfaen Deal. It also manages the council's online engagement hub and people's panel, and co-ordinates work with the Children and Young People Engagement and Participation Officer. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential, and applications may be made in English or Welsh.
