Job summary

Reed in Partnership is recruiting an Engagement Officer to source sustainable stakeholder organisations for referral opportunities across Derbyshire. You will travel across the region to engage external partners, promoting the Connect to Work contract and Reed in Partnership services.

The role requires experience in sales/outreach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to meet KPIs within SLAs. A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

What is this role about?

An Engagement Officer is responsible for the sourcing of sustainable stakeholder organisations (partners) for referral opportunities to the Connect to Work contract across Derbyshire.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Business Development/Outreach

• Identifies opportunities and converts effectively, explaining fully and selling in the benefits of the programme to partners and potential participants
• Identifies and proactively seeks other referral source opportunities.
• Maximises on repeating business and developing existing accounts.
• Identifies organisations with potential for providing referrals to other Reed in Partnership locations and Supply Chain Partners
• Attends various events across the region to help promote brand exposure and promote our services to various stakeholders – Jobs fairs, Community Events

Customer Service and Relationship Management

• Educates operations teams and about the volumes and types of members identified from key referral source partners.
• Ensures all stakeholder engagement services are delivered in accordance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified within SLAs.

Service Delivery and Recovery

• Ensures information on referrals are communicated promptly to the operations teams.
• Ensures all outstanding referral opportunities are highlighted to the operations teams.

Service and Support

• Collates all necessary contractual paperwork within agreed timescales.
• Provides feedback to operations teams in a format agreed with management.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:

• Experience of and track record of success working in a sales-oriented environment in an account management or business development role
• Experience of working as part of a multi-function service delivery team.
