Job summary

Mayborn Group in Newcastle Upon Tyne is seeking an Engagement & Internal Communications Executive to lead internal channels and employee engagement initiatives. You will report to senior leaders, collaborate with HR and global stakeholders to craft timely, engaging communications and recognise staff contributions.

The role focuses on content creation, intranet governance, EVP initiatives and planning, requiring strong project management and stakeholder skills to drive participation and alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal communications or employee engagement roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple activities to deadlines.
• Experience planning or coordinating events or campaigns.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with SharePoint, PageTiger or Viva Engage advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly employee round-up content and distribution.
• Create LinkedIn content to support employer brand visibility and external communications.
• Coordinate town hall communications and recognition activities.
• Manage the intranet and Viva Engage content governance.
• Plan and deliver internal employee events and engagement activities.
• Maintain communication plans, calendars and timelines.
