Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in the United Kingdom seeks an Assistant Consultant to support engagement and consultation across major infrastructure programmes. You will help communities understand projects and gather feedback through clear communications, events, surveys and reports.

The role offers collaboration with senior specialists within Planning and Consents and cross‑team interaction to deliver quality engagement. A degree or two years' experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a related field such as engagement, communications, planning or consultation.
• Membership of a relevant professional or trade body is preferred or an interest in working towards one.
• Exposure to road, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Help communities and stakeholders understand projects through clear communications.
• Publish communications, organise events and assist with surveys to gather feedback.
• Present feedback to support project development and report preparation.
• Attend meetings, minute notes, and track stakeholder engagement across the UK and internationally.
• Support project teams to deliver quality communications and engagement activities.
