Job summary

Candour is seeking a hands-on Engagement Architect / Product Owner to own client delivery from discovery to release. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, translate needs for the engineering team, and drive delivery with autonomy.

Based in the North West, you’ll work from Chester three days a week with remote time outside the office. You’ll manage budgets, schedules and risks while running agile ceremonies and ensuring the final product meets acceptance criteria and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bridging business requirements and engineering delivery.
• Experience leading discovery and scoping workshops.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills.
• Experience using Jira and writing acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery from discovery through release for the client account.
• Lead client-facing discovery and scoping workshops with AI-assisted tools.
• Translate requirements into build-ready tickets with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own day-to-day resourcing and ticket scheduling for a small engineering team.
• Act as the release gatekeeper ensuring quality and criteria are met.
• Track budget and hours against commitments and manage risks.
• Maintain risk/issue logs and escalate blockers promptly.
• Run delivery ceremonies: stand-ups, planning, backlog refinements, retros.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders as delivery contact.
• Review AI-generated outputs for technical and business fit.
