Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a stimulating programme of events for residents across our care homes. You will tailor activities to individual needs and promote independence in a warm, compassionate setting with strong teamwork.

You will engage with residents, relatives, and the local community to create meaningful experiences and lasting memories within our supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and delivering events and activities for residents.
• Experience working with elderly residents in a care setting.
• Able to engage with residents to understand their interests and organise suitable activities.
• Able to engage with the local community to bring people into activities.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver an ongoing programme of activities for residents.
• Engage residents to promote independence and tailor activities to individual needs.
• Work with the team to provide care, warmth and kindness in homes.
• Encourage relatives and friends to participate in activities and events.
