Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust in Arundel is seeking a Bank Activities Co-ordinator to plan and deliver an engaging programme of events for residents in our Grade II listed castle care home. You’ll tailor activities to individual needs, promote independence and ensure everyone enjoys meaningful moments each day.

You’ll work with a friendly team, involve the local community, and help create a warm, stimulating atmosphere. Bank shifts cover annual leave and sickness, with rate £13.67 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating, organising and delivering events or working with elderly residents.
• Ability to tailor activities to individual needs and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver a programme of activities for residents.
• Engage residents individually and in groups to promote independence and well-being.
• Work with care home team to encourage participation and recruitment of volunteers.
