The Orders of St John Care Trust is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator at Larkrise Care Centre, Banbury, Oxfordshire. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging activities that promote independence and wellbeing for residents.

The position offers weekend enhancements with a 15-hour weekly schedule, primarily 9:00am–5:00pm on Monday and Sunday, and benefits typical of the charity sector within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating and delivering activities for residents.
• Able to engage with elderly residents and tailor activities to individual needs.
• Comfortable engaging with the local community to bring people in to events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an ongoing activities programme for residents.
• Engage residents to understand interests and needs, both group and one-to-one.
• Coordinate with care home staff, relatives and broader community for events.
